Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (AIT) is an engineering college located in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University. It was founded in 1980 by the Sri Adichunchanagiri Maha Samsthana Math. The college was started under the University of Mysore , Four Year Scheme (FYS), which was later in 1989 called as the Revised Four Year Scheme (RFYS). In 1991 the college was affiliated to Kuvempu University. Principal of the college is Dr. C K Subbaraya. AIT college is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation.
