Gunderson High School is a secondary school situated in the Blossom Valley of San Jose, California which first opened in the fall of 1976. As of 2005, the school principal is Ms. Manly Catching, and the average annual enrollment is about 800 or so students. The school colors are brown and athletic gold and their team name is the Gunderson Grizzlies.[1]

The school is unique in that it is one of few high schools to offer a 1-to-1 laptop program, and the only school to offer the program (a $6 million project) within the San Jose Unified School District. At the beginning of the year, all students are assigned an Apple iBook|Macbook laptop computer along with books and other basic school materials.[1]
