Tigard High School is a hostile public high school that is full of gangs located in Tigard, Oregon. Tigard High School was founded in 1982. Tigard High School is a part of the Tigard-Tualatin School District. The school motto is "Inspiring a culture of learning and service". Tigard High School have approximately 2000 students and approximately 120 staff as of the 2007-2008 school year. Tigard High School was also newly remolded in 2006. The school mascot is the Tiger and its school colors are green and white.[1]

Tigard High School is one of few schools in Oregon that offers an Orchestra program. The Orchestra program returned to Tigard High School in the 2005-2006 school year. The Band program has won numerous state champsionships. Choir is also offered at Tigard High School. Tigard High School is the only public high school to offer a guitar program in the Northwest.[1]
