Loyalsock Township High School (Grades 9-12) is located in Loyalsock Township, Pennsylvania (near the city of Williamsport, Pennsylvania). The mascot for the school is the Lancer, and the school's colors are maroon and white. On average, there are about 500 students enrolled in the high school each year, making the average class size 100-130 students. Loyalsock Township High School is currently rated the 13th best public high school in the state of Pennsylvania, out of 612 high schools. It was also given a 5-star rating by SchoolDigger.com. In the 2007-2008 Football Season, the Lancers went 12-3 becoming District IV Champs for the first time for over 20 years. This was the first time the Lancers were District IV Champs in class AA. The Lancers also made it to the PIAA Final Four and had three players named with All-State honors. [1]
