Gresham High School is a high school located in Gresham, Oregon. As of 2006, the school serves 1,789 students in grades 9 through 12, along with 150 staff members. It opened in 1906. The school's mascot is the Gopher, and the school colors are blue, silver, and white. The school's principal is Carol Daiberl. The three vice-principals are Ayesha Freeman, Kristin Mayville and Lonnie Wells. The high school is fed by two local middle schools, Dexter McCarty Middle School and Clear Creek Middle School, both of which serve grades 6-8. Gresham's main athletic rival is nearby Sam Barlow High School. [1]

Gresham High is an official IB (International Baccalaureate) World School offering the IB Diploma Program. This challenging two-year program for juniors and seniors is generally supported by prerequisite classes in freshman and sophomore year. Students with a full IB diploma can get advanced placement and up to one full year college credit. Students who successfully earn an IB diploma are highly regarded by colleges and universities worldwide. Gresham High School also offers Woods, Mechanical, and Technology classes in a program called ProTech. [1]
