Central High School is a secondary school located in Duluth, Minnesota which educates students in grades nine through twelve. The school first opened in 1893. The mascot of the school is the Trojan. In 1971, the school moved to its current location from its original building, which now houses administrative offices for the district. [1]

In 2007, in a controversial move, the Duluth School Board announced that they would support a long-range plan for the district which would close Central and keep a renovated Ordean Middle School and Denfeld High School as the only two high schools in Duluth. [1]
