The International School of Brussels (ISB) is an English-language day school providing an international education to students from over 60 countries, within an age range from 3 to 18. Founded in 1951, it is situated on a 162,000 m² wooded campus about 9 kilometres from the centre of the city, in the Watermael Boitsfort commune of Brussels. In 2007 - 2008 school year, about 1,450 students are enrolled at ISB.[1]

Students can participate in a number of non-athletic activities. The school features an orchestra, lower and upper level band, jazz band, Symphonic Band, and choir. The drama department holds multiple shows every year. Each school also has a separate student-run yearbook, on which students work the entire year.[1]
