Mercer Raceway Park is a 3/8-mile dirt track located just minutes from both the Interstate 79 and 80 exits just off Route 19 ; 62 at 555 Fairground Road in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Mercer Raceway Park is the site of the former Mercer County Fair and is one of the oldest dirt tracks in the nation with horse racing dating back to the 1800s. Mercer ran its first auto race on July 26, 1951. Today, Mercer Raceway Park is one of the regions top dirt tracks running Saturday nights beginning late March and continuing into early October. The 2008 divisions included the 410 Sprints, 358 Modifieds, FASTRAK Late Models, Mod Lites, and Mini Stocks.Vicki Emig is the current owner and has owned the facility since January 1999. The office for the speedway is located between New Castle, PA and Youngstown, OH near the Pennsylvania/Ohio State Line on Route 422 in New Bedford, PA. The mailing address is 4368 Route 422, Pulaski, PA 16143.[1]
