The School started at 35E Elgin Road in 1969. The school had a Branch at Townsend Road, one at Ganganagar started in 1976 and much later another one at Kalyani, West Bengal in 1988. "The School has decided to start another branch on 11 acres in Howrah by the end of 2009. It has not been decided yet whether the branch will be affiliated to either of the Delhi boards or the West Bengal board. The foundation stone of the institution was laid on December 19 2006. The School is also considering setting up of a technology college in Howrah. The existing three branches of the School cater to 6,000 students." - Source The Telegraph (Kolkata). Julien Day School is a Co-Education school i.e. it caters for both boys and girls.[1]
The school was founded by the Mr. George and Mrs. Sheila Broughton in Kolkata and is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), New Delhi and West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Madhyamik).
