Salinas High School is a public high school established in Salinas, California. It is the first of four primary high schools of the Salinas Union High School District. The school was moved to its current central Salinas location in 1920. Circa 1999, the campus was rebuilt, with most buildings demolished and replaced, but the main original wing and bell-tower retained but renovated. In August 2011, the school was expanded with with 5 new classrooms, along with 5 new teachers getting hired. In addition to this, 10 new security guards were hired. [1]
