MAGNOLIA INC. formerly Philippine Dairy Products Corporation, is a dairy company engaged in the marketing, manufacturing, distribution and exporting of butter, margarine and cheese products under the brand names Magnolia, Dari crème and Star. The 5-hectare manufacturing plant is located in Governor¿s Drive., Bo. De Fuego, Gen. Trias Cavite. San Miguel Corporation (SMC) wholly owns the Company. PDPC started in 1981 as a business unit of the dairy division of SMC under the Magnolia Dairy Product Plant located in Aurora Blvd. Quezon City. In 1990, the Company entered into a joint venture with New Zealand Dairy Board (NZDB), having a partnership of 7¿30 with SMC. The Plant transferred to Cavite in 195. It was on July 2002, when NZMB sold their share to SMC. PDPC became 100 % SMC-owned and was renamed MAGNOLIA INCORPORATED.
