History
- Our Lady of Light Parish was established in 1560, but was built as a visita in 1507. It was first dedicated to St. Andrew, then it was rededicated to Our Lady of Light in 1527. The church was destoryed in World War II and was later rebuilt in 1966. It was blessed by Rufino Cardinal Santos, then Archbishop of Manila on February 25, 1968. Fernando Amorsolo was also commissioned to repaint the new icon of Our Lady of Lgiht in 1960.
