The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to re-shaping the future by involving itself in the enabling of government, non-government, private voluntary and people's organizations into a sector capable of democratizing development initiatives. In 1966, the Founder himself, Don Ramon Aboitiz sought ways to realize his vision with his living philosophy: 'The dignity of man is best respected by helping him realize his hopes and sharing with him the burden of his fears'. This philosophy toward philanthropy eventually became the cornerstone of the Foundation named after him, which he endowed with the means to carry on his dream.
