Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) (established 1887) is one of India's premier engineering and technical institutes, located in Mumbai, India and attracts top talent. Until 26th January 1997 it was known as the Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute.

VJTI was ranked 9th best in the country (among all engineering colleges) in an India Today survey in 1999.
